概要	GCF contains bioactive substance such as tissue-destructive factors and has attracted attention as one of the diagnostic materials. In this study aims to assess the correlation between GCF MMP/TIMP expression etc,. The expression of MMP-8 and -9 increased after Stage III and IV and Grade B and C, while the expression of TIMP-1 and -2 showed a decreasing trend with increasing stage severity and decreased after Grade B and C. Periodontitis triggers elevated GCF volume, disrupting MMP/TIMP balance, leading to tissue destruction and compromised homeostasis. Evaluating GCF parameters could serve as an objective measure in the classification (2017) of periodontal disease.
