概要	Periodontitis is a chronic inflammatory disease thatleads to bone resorption by osteoclasts (OCs). Several factors contribute to thedifferentiation of OCs from hematopoietic precursors. Cellular chemotactic fac-tors are expressed in periodontitis tissue, but the effects of these chemoattrac-tants on OCs are not well understood. Here we examined the effects ofchemoattractants produced in inflamed periodontal tissue on OC chemotaxis.
