概要	The purpose of this pilot study was to assess quantitative to relation various occlusal support and pharyngeal function. We used high resolution manometry (HRM) to assess pharyngeal movements during swallowing with/without wearing denture.It was possible to quantitatively evaluate changes in the pharynx function to differences occlusal support with/wihtout wearing denture using HRM. The present result suggested that occlusal support with denture change pharyngeal function. Further studies are needed in order to study with a greater number of subjects.
