概要	Pazopanib, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor commonly used to treat soft-tissue sarcomas, has been reported to cause certain serious adverse events, including pneumothorax. In the PALLETE study, which led to the approval of pazopanib for use in sarcoma, the incidence of pneumothorax is reported to be ~3%. (Winette T A van der Graaf et al. : Pazopanib for metastatic soft-tissue sarcoma (PALETTE): a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled phase 3 trial. Lancet 2012; 379: 1879–86) This complication has rarely been reported overall, but its incidence appears to be increasing in recent case reports－to a current estimate of ~14%. We present the case of pneumothorax in a patient with leiomyosarcoma metastatic to the lung treated with pazopanib.
