概要	In our previous reports (Yasuo et al., 2019, 2023), a 48-h two-bottle choice test and a 10-s lick test in Osteogenic Disorder Shionogi /ShiJcl-od/od (ODS) rats lacking the ability to synthesize ascorbic acid (AsA) showed that the preference and lick ratios for acids including AsA increase during AsA deficiency, but the results included the effect of sour taste. In this study, to further understand the ingestive behavior of AsA in ODS rats, similar behavioral analyses using sodium ascorbate (AsA-Na), which presents a salty taste, were conducted in ODS rats under AsA-sufficient, AsA-deficient, and AsA-Na-re-intake conditions.
