概要	The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of acute normovolemic hemodilution (ANH) using low-molecular-weight hydroxyethyl starch (HES) on intraoperative blood loss during the sagittal split ramus osteotomy (SSRO).We conclude that ANH, in which withdrawn blood is replaced by low-molecular-weight HES immediately before surgery, increases intraoperative blood loss.
