| 概要 | Capsaicin (CAP) contributes to flavor perception, but its effects on taste behavior remain unclear. We previously found that 3 µM CAP selectively enhanced chorda tympani (CT) nerve responses to sugars via an SGLT1-dependent mechanism. In this study, a 10-s short-term lick test in C57BL/6J mice showed that CAP increased behavioral responses to sugars, consistent with neural responses, suggesting CAP enhances sugar palatability through SGLT1-mediated sweet taste signaling. |
