概要	The purpose of this study was to examine the hypothesis that mouth breathing has an adverse influence on the form of facial soft tissue.The N -Sn -Pog angle of mouth breathers was significantly smaller than that of nose breathers in four- and five-year-olds. The Prn -N-Sn angle and the Sn-Ls /Li -Pog angle of mouth breathers were significantly smaller than those of nose breathers at all ages.Mouth breathers have an anteriorly prominent subnasale and lips and a flatter nose, and the adverse influence of mouth breathing on facial form appears before the age of three.
