概要	We have developed porous blocks of sintered carbonate apatite (CA) and combined them with bone marrow cells obtained from young adult rats. This hybrid material was implanted into the back of rats. Within 4 weeks after implantation， bone was observed in the pores. Sintered porous carbonate apatite is an effective scaffold for osteoblastic cell proliferation， differentiation and growth. Hybrid materials created by combining bone marrow cells with CA can be very useful as osteoinductive bone substitutes.
