概要	Pulp chamber configurations subjacent to protosylids vary according to the development of the tubercle of the protostylid. The prominences of pulp chamber above the cervical line level might lead to a shortage of residual dentin thickness during standard vital tooth crown preparation. The existence of protostylids should be taken into consideration in order to prevent iatrogenic pulpal damage.
