概要 | The aim of this study was to compare electromyogram (EMG) activity during a highly trained professional golfer’s swing with the high handicapped golfer’s swing. One professional male golfer and six high handicapped male golfers participated in this study. All subjects were right-handed. Surface electrodes were attached to the 13 muscles on the subjects as follows; both trapezius, both biceps brachii, both triceps brachii, both rectus femoris, both biceps femoris, both tibialis anterior and right gastrocnemius. In order to evaluate the relative relationship among the subjects, the maximal manual muscle test (MMT) was done according to instructions. After the warming up, the subjects hit the golf ball 10 times each with a driver (1W), a five iron (5I) and a pitching wedge (PW) for a total of 30 shots. All trials were videotaped by a high-speed video camera (nac; HSV-400), and the shutter speed was 1/1000 sec. |
